Your Halloween Trick or Treatcast

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —  Guys and ghouls, Halloween is just around the corner. While rain and clouds plague the forecast for now, hauntingly beautiful weather arrives just in time for our Halloween Sunday. Expect highs near 70° during the afternoon in the Piedmont and Foothills, while the High Country carves out a home closer to 60°.

While Halloween night won’t exactly be bone-chilling, packing a few layers under your costume is a good idea to avoid getting bitten by the cold. When sunset rolls around in the Queen City just after 6:30, temperatures will be in the mid-60s. Lows will hit rock bottom in the mid-40s overnight, while our elevated communities could hover near freezing.

A moderate breeze out of the north may make things feel even chillier. Make sure your little ghostlings are prepared with gloves and long sleeves. While more treats than tricks are expected in the forecast, make sure you’re prepared to have some skele-fun!
