Overnight Cold Front Leaves Us Dry & Windy

[ad_1]

After a beautiful Thanksgiving, a cold front will march through the region late Thursday into early Friday. A mix of snow and rain is likely in the high country, but accumulations will be slim. As the front makes it to the Piedmont isolated to scattered rain showers are possible, but again – not much. We cool back into the 50s for highs on Friday and it will be windy. Expect a northwest wind sustained at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph possible. Overnight lows Friday into Saturday bottom out in the 20s. The weekend looks nice, cool and dry with highs in the mid 50s on Saturday and near 60 on Sunday.

Tonight: Increasing clouds. Overnight scattered showers. Low: 44. Wind: S/SW 5-10.

Friday: Sunny skies. High: 55. Wind: NW 10-20.

Friday PM: Clear skies. Low: 28. Wind: NW 5-10.

Saturday: Sunny skies. High: 56. Wind: SW 5-10.

Happy Thanksgiving!
