Smokehouse to offer up savory meals at their second Charlotte location with expansion.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte’s largest smokehouse is expanding to Optimist Hall in early 2022, Noble Food & Pursuits announced Thursday in a news release.

Noble Smoke will offer its premium, hickory-smoked meats and savory sides from a 527-square foot stall at the food hall. The restaurant plans to bring heartfelt Southern barbecue to the popular location.

“We look forward to bringing our Carolina and Texas-style barbecue to the Mill District,” Jim Noble said in a news release. “We’re proud to join the Optimist Hall family, to meet new friends, and to offer another, possibly more convenient location within Charlotte for our longtime customers.”

The Optimist Hall location’s daily offerings will be smoked and cooked at Noble Smoke’s flagship location on Freedom Drive. Noble Smoke plans to serve its signature meats, Cheshire pork, Creekstone Farms brisket, and Joyce Farms turkey alongside a selection of Noble Smoke’s seasonal sides.

“We built Noble Smoke in honor of the pitmasters, past and present, who created the storied tradition of smoking meat and those who keep it alive. As we grow, our attention to quality and tradition will remain the centerpiece,” Noble said.

Noble Smoke has selected Doerre Construction as the general contractor, the same contractor who built Noble Smoke’s 10,700 square foot restaurant and 1,800 square foot smokehouse on Freedom Drive, and Gensler as the architect.
