CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Public Health Director Gibbie Harris has confirmed two elementary-aged children have died from COVID-19 in Mecklenburg County.
Harris says these deaths represent the only two pediatric COVID-19 deaths reported in Mecklenburg County to date in 2021.
