CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Students at Alexander Graham Middle School will see additional officers on campus after school officials say there was a threat posted on Snapchat. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools said that a snapshot of a gun was being shared and that a picture included a caption that told students to stay at home Monday if they wanted to be safe.
We are told CMS Police Department as well as CMPD have been notified and they are investigating the post.
The Alexander Graham Middle School principal also said in a statement “Please share with your child that sharing a post of this nature has very serious consequences and we appreciate any information about where this post originated. Please help staff by talking with your students about NOT reposting threats but encourage them to share the posts with you and school staff.”
