FBI: Unknown Human Remains And Brian Laundrie’s Belongings Found In FL State Park

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – New developments in the search for Brian Laundrie. The Sarasota County Medical Examiner and a cadaver dog were called to a Florida state park on Wednesday where some of Brian Laundries’ things have been found. Human remains were found as well, but the FBI hasn’t said who the remains belong to. His parents informed the FBI and police they would be at the park Wednesday morning to search for him. And, after a “brief search,” they found “some articles” that belong to him. Law enforcement is now doing a more thorough investigation of that area.

“These items were found in an area that up until recently have been under water. Our evidence response team is on scene using all available forensic resources to process the area. It’s likely the team will be on scene for several days. I know you have a lot of questions, but we don’t have all the answers yet. We are working diligently to get those answers for you,” says FBI Special Agent in Charge Michael McPherson.

Our question of the night: do you think Brian Laundrie’s family will be more cooperative after Wednesday’s discovery?
