Fabulous Fall Feels Flow Forth

[ad_1]

Record-tying heat has blasted the Carolinas over the better part of the past week, and Friday has not been an exception. That said, big changes lurk just off to our west. A powerful cold front will sweep through the Carolinas Saturday afternoon, bringing isolated rain chances and much brisker air. After topping out in the mid-to-upper 80s to close out the workweek, most Piedmont locations will wake up to the 40s Sunday morning. The frosty 30s will settle into the High Country for the second half of the weekend. Wind chills may approach freezing in our elevated communities for the next several nights after Sunday.

Next week looks much more seasonable, with near-normal highs in the 60s and 70s across the board. While the lower 80s are possible in some spots by next weekend, record-breaking heat will not come into play. Rain chances remain few and far between for the penultimate week of October.
