CONCORD, N.C. — Firefighters were able to extinguish a fire at a home in Concord in under six minutes Thursday night. Fire officials say no one was hurt in the fire.
Concord Fire received a call around 10 p.m. in regards to a house fire on Barley Street SW.
Crews arrived within five minutes and confirmed there was a growing fire in the garage of the home.
The Concord Fire Department says firefighters were able to get the fire under control within six minutes of arriving at the scene.
Officials say a total of four Engines, two Ladders, two Battalion Chiefs, and a Safety Officer responded with 27 firefighters.
Investigators say the cause of the fire is determined to be an electrical malfunction.
