CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC are inviting fans and families to their Tree Lighting Festival, presented by Atrium Health on Nov. 30.

The free, ticketed event makes a return this year with a new street festival format featuring activities for the entire family.

“We’re excited to bring the tree lighting back to the Charlotte community as the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC celebrate the holiday season together,” said Tom Glick, President of Tepper Sports & Entertainment, the parent company of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC. “The new street festival format offers flexibility and a greater variety of activities for adults, children and families to enjoy. We can’t wait to bring the community back together and help get everyone into the holiday spirit.”

The festival, which takes place just outside Bank of America Stadium at the corner of Mint Street and Graham Street, begins at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The event features appearances by Sir Purr, the TopCats Cheerleaders, the PurrCussion Drumline and the Black & Blue Crew as well as Charlotte FC players in a procession that will precede the lighting of the tree at 7 p.m. Other family-friendly activities include a photo booth, caricature artists, balloon artists, a chance to meet Santa Claus, and a family-friendly movie shown on a big screen.

Bottled water and hot cocoa will be available free of charge with additional food and drinks available for purchase from various local food trucks.

The NFL Clear Bag Policy will be in place at the tree lighting festival.

No alcohol is permitted at the festival. The event will be held rain or shine and parking will be available from various independent parking companies in the Uptown area.

Free tickets are required to attend and are available at Panthers.com/treelighting.
