Brief Relief From Intrusive Summer

Rain chances begin to tick back up heading into the workweek.

Another beautiful day has arrived in the WCCB Charlotte viewing area on the backside of the cold front that moved through earlier this morning. Expect lows to freefall into the 30s, 40s, and lower 50s across the board as we kick off the weekend. Highs will top out in the 60s and lower 70s Saturday afternoon. Our newfound taste of fall won’t last long. Our never-ending summer returns by the second half of the weekend, as the 80s carry into the start of the workweek.

Rain chances remain minimal for the next couple of days, but we could see a few scattered showers on Monday as a system passes to our north. Our next best shot at soaking rain comes by midweek.

Tonight: Clearing out and cooling down. Low: 50°. Wind: N 5-10.

Saturday: Fantastic fall weather. High: 74°. Wind: NW 5-10.

Saturday Night: Another cool night. Low: 52°. Wind: Light.

Sunday: Warm sunshine. High: 80°. Wind: S 5-10.
